About Previous Roles
In his previous role as an architectural/Interior Designer with Newport Collaborative Architects (Director of Design), Jonathan led small and large-scale residential and commercial projects in a variety of locations, including projects in Maine, Florida, Texas, California, Washington, Illinois, and New York. He coordinated architectural details, designed and specified custom construction elements, and further created and implemented the whole architectural/interior concept. During this time, Jonathan also led and partnered on various residential/commercial/retail projects of differing scale and depth of involvement. Client lists, therefore, ranged from many of the top one hundred commercial and retail companies in the U.S., and from designing luxury homes to affordable housing.

Whether classic or contemporary, across a vast range of styles, Jonathan balances scale, building types, mechanical, electrical, colors, textures, and lighting to create a building space that ultimately reflects his clients’ personalities and suits their design needs. He collaborates with architects, engineers, and builders to execute the owner’s vision in addition to taking the personal leadership of each project.

He is subsequently a Registered Interior Designer who holds LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) and BPI (Building Performance Institute) certificates. Jonathan was an educator at Boston Architecture College and Suffolk University in their Master’s programs. Continuing post-graduate work at Rhode Island School of Design over the years.

He’s passionate about working with Affordable Housing project organizations like NeighborWorks America Blackstone Valley & San Juan Community Home Trust in his spare time. Secondly, he enjoys exploring the city’s cultural, art and food scene with his clients, as well as traveling worldwide for experiences and inspiration.
